Hello and welcome to my site. I love old homes. I enjoy talking to homeowners who have restored their old homes or have stories about the original families that lived in their homes.
Having been born and raised in the city, I wasn't sure how I would take to living on Long Island. After 15 years, I'd say Long Island has won me over. I love the place - the North Shore of Long Island is filled with history from the old fishing towns to the captains of industry that built lavish homes on Long Island's Gold Coast.
When I became a real estate agent I was, of course, drawn to the old homes that possess the classic architectural elements - old Victorians with their towers and big porches, Tudors with their exposed timber work, Bungalows with exposed chimneys and large front porches and last but not least the good old New England Colonial.
My curiosity and eagerness to learn about Long Island inspired me to join the Huntington Historical Society, Member of Society of Preservation of Long Island Antiquities. By the way, local historical societies are a great resource for investigating the origins of your home and/or neighborhood.
If you share my interest in preserving and restoring the classic, older Long Island properties, give me call to help you buy your next home or allow me the privedlege of selling your cherished home to its new owners.
